Yves Beaumont is the Avionics Product Line Manager at Kontron. He is responsible of Kontron’s Inflight Connectivity and Inflight Entertainment products strategy. Yves has been working for Kontron for 20 years and has extensive Kontron history covering almost two decades of electronic development engineering in many markets (Telecom, Automotive and Industrial). Yves moved to the IFC and IFE industry 2 years ago and he literally has fallen in love with this industry. For the past years, Yves has been involved in Seamless Air Alliance and is currently chairing the Hosted Platform Working Group (HOST). He is also actively participating to Seamless ARCH group co-chaired by Airbus and Boeing. This ARCH working group is looking at the standardization of SATCOM solutions and systems which could be a game changer in the industry.
