Anil Kumar is a Technical Fellow at The Boeing Company, leading the development of new aircraft connectivity technologies including standardization of next generation Satcom. His pioneering work has led to strategic opportunities, products, and real-world deployments in the aerospace industry. At Boeing, he has worked on leading edge wireless products that have been deployed on commercial and military platforms. He is an expert in wireless communication technology strategy and a key contributor to the development of passenger and crew connectivity on aircraft. He led Boeing at the international forums including ITU-R that culminated in the spectrum allocation for a broadband mobile satellite service.
He has taught the subject of digital signal processing at various universities in Australia and the US. He was one of the expert reviewers of the international Journal of Radio Frequency Identification. He has published refereed papers and contributed to 40+ patent applications. He is an IEEE Member of Communications and Signal Processing group. He was on the Advisory Board of Auburn University RFID Lab leading the implementation on aircraft parts
He holds Masters in Communication and Radar engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India.
