Alan is responsible for the design and deployment of NetForecast’s QMap network user experience quality monitoring service. He heads research and development for user experience measurement, data collection, and cloud-based aggregation for terrestrial, mobile, and satellite-based internet services. He is also responsible for data analysis, which provides insights into user experience measurement data.

Alan has extensive experience designing systems used to test cellular networks, and has led teams developing products and internal infrastructure for some of the largest telecom companies in the world. He draws on nearly two decades designing and testing cellular handsets, and designing and implementing mobile network test systems.
